The goal with this inter line hybrid was to attempt a quasi backcross, hoping to combine the best traits of both parents, ideally creating a "better" Midnight Velvet. The seed parent has superior colour on the adaxial veining with really nice brown hue & dark red purple adaxial veining, while the pollen parent has insane texture, the DARKEST emergents & some of the craziest abaxial surface colouring. No
