Japanese Clay Bell Dorei Mouse Vtg Tsuchi-Suzu Zodiac Animal Nezumi White DR683 indigo 40 cm long x 27Vintage Japanese Clay Bell Dorei This is a vintage Japanese clay bell, or dorei. Representing the animals of the zodiac, this bell is in the shape of a mouse. It is mostly white with a painted pink plum blossom on one side. It has a small clay ball inside and a blue string attached at the side. Dorei bells have a long history and have been used in festivals and ceremonies since the Jomon period (about 13000 to 2300 years ago) when they were said to
