Safir/Quaife Clutch fork Shaft GT40 guitars Please call for that actualWhen using the ZFQ Quaife gearbox with the Safir Clutch kit, it is necessary to change the Quaife clutch fork shaft with the Safir Quaife shaft. The Quaife and ZF RBT shafts differ by the number of splines on the end over which the clutch lever is positioned. Safir makes the lever using the original ZF (now RBT) design, so we make a Quaife compatible shaft with the ZF RBT spline design. The lever is sold separately.
