It features some of Gable's greatest scrambling routes including the Climbers' Traverse, Needle Ridge and Sphinx Ridge. Also visible at centre right is the prominent Napes Needle, the symbolic centre of the first climbing on British rock. "While climbing on some of the more popular routes on Gable I have found myself
