Made of silk, the backside and the top border are white with a subtle dragon and cloud pattern. The front side is bright orange with embroidered gold chrysanthemums with a red floral grid border. This rectangular type is often used as a background for a standard triangular uchishiki. Uchishiki is mainly used by
