I enjoyed a peaceful hour exploring and composing this photograph

Hiking in and out of the gorge was just an added reward to this magical scene

and was rewarded as the snowstorm at the peak moved away

It was a beautiful evening when I walked down by this pond

Realizing this covered bridge would be blanketed in snow, I set out to capture the scene. The color of the sky was a perfect contrast to a nearly monochromatic winter landscape. Open Edition 2015
