He has expertly captured the detailed image of our science fiction hero "Flash Gordon" together with a great portrait of Emperor Ming played by Max Von Sydow. The quality of earlier painted film posters like this one from 1980 has to be seen in the flesh to be fully appreciated. The colours on this one are excellent
